Dollar Crafting - Fall Jute & Felt Rose Wreath

I am so.... excited we are having our first day that feels like fall, cool temps and even rain!!!

I made another (secret trip) to the Dollar Tree this weekend and found the best craft supplies to create the sweet little Fall Wreath.

Supplies:
  • Styrofoam Wreath $1.00
  • Jute string $1.00
  • Bag of silk oak leaves $1.00
  • Berry Spray $1.00
  • Felt or Fabric that you already have on hand
  • Glue

Wrap your Styrofoam wreath form with the jute string, Tip - I ended up wrapping mine with muslin ribbon so that the green Styrofoam didn't show through.  Once you have that all nicely wrapped glue on your Fall oak leaves.  To make the felt roses cut yourself a circle of felt, cut this into a spiral and wrap around itself.  Here is agreat and easy tutorial for making these little roses from Little Things Big Smiles Blog. Now glue these on top of the leaves, add a few berries for a little of accent.

This wreath took be about an hour total to create with a total cost of about $4.00!
